ACC faculty, staff, and students have one last opportunity to play a role in the college’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) by applying for the QEP Implementation Committee. The Implementation Committee is the third and final committee in the college’s QEP process.
The topic of “Digital Fluency & Innovation for Today’s Jobs” was selected by the ACC community as the college’s QEP project in fall 2021. This project will enable ACC students to earn microcredentials to help improve their utilization of many digital platforms. The goal is to help ACC students grow their digital skills to enhance their employability and their success as students at ACC and beyond. The microcredentials will be available to ACC students online for free and will cover a wide range of platforms and digital skills, including word processing, presentation software, web development, and others.
The QEP Implementation Committee will serve as a steering committee for the college’s five-year QEP project, which will be led by Dean Linda Smarzik. This committee will start meeting in late September 2022. Members of the Implementation Committee will take part in the SACSCOC on-site visit on October 24-27, 2022.
The deadline to apply is Sunday, August 28.
