Austin Community College District (ACC)’s homepage has a new look! The new layout and content bands are redesigned to improve the user experience for prospective students while reinforcing the college’s value and brand.

“We are making modest changes with a big impact that will ultimately improve the user experience and elevate important information for future students,” says Brette Lea, vice chancellor of College Relations & Marketing. “The team has tracked web analytics, studied non-matriculant and prospective student surveys, and conducted Google search analysis to determine the most needed improvements.”

Changes to the homepage include:

  • Showcasing the college’s programs and Areas of Study.
  • Highlighting the most searched-for information including fall registration, campus tours, and financial aid options.
  • Promoting the value points prospective students say are most important when choosing a college.
  • Adding an interactive social media “wall” to share ACC news and student testimonials.

Other features include a band to promote other top enrollment options such as ACC Online, Dual Credit, Continuing Education, and Adult Education, and all sections are mobile-friendly.

Navigation for current and prospective students, as well as employees, remains the same.
