In mid-September, Austin Community College District’s (ACC) Office of College Relations and Marketing hosted a casting call to meet with current students interested in working as talent in ACC commercials and radio spots, on-air hosts for various ACCTV-produced shows, or part of the behind-the-scenes production crew for future film projects.
Over two days, more than 60 students from a variety of ACC programs such as Radio-Television-Film, Jewelry, and Cybersecurity came to audition in person. Another nine joined the casting call virtually. All shared their stories about coming to ACC and why they’re eager to get involved and engaged at the college. You’ll get to meet these students throughout the year on our billboard, on social media, TV, radio, and more.
