Austin Community College District (ACC) premieres a new episode of Day in the Life on October 1, 2021, at 7 p.m.
The reality docu-style show, produced by ACCTV, follows Alijah Wilson, ACC Vocational Nursing student, over the course of her last semester in fall 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Determined to graduate in December, Alijah is forced to juggle the challenges of her online and in-person classes with keeping her family safe in uncertain times.
The 26-minute episode, the second in the Day in the Life series, took about a year to produce. It was a collaboration between ACCTV staff and the college’s Nursing Department.

The first episode followed ACC Culinary Arts student David Greenfield and can be viewed on ACCTV’s YouTube channel. The pilot episode won a 2020 Bronze Paragon Award from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations.
