More than 4,000 students financially impacted by COVID-19 got support paying for college this semester at Austin Community College District (ACC). ACC allocated nearly $7 million in Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act funds for spring 2021.
Applications for summer 2021 funding opened May 4.
The dollars are a part of the federal Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) which is paid for by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
CRRSA dollars will be available for ACC students through the fall.
