Austin Community College District (ACC) employees in need of a COVID-19 vaccine can now register for a vaccination clinic on Friday, April 23, at ACC Highland Campus, Building 2000. The Pfizer vaccine will be provided at the vaccination clinic. Employees who receive the vaccine at ACC on April 23, will need to come back on May 14 for their second dose.
The offering is available for the first 500 employees to sign up by sending an email to [email protected] from their ACC email address. The email must include the employee’s name, preferred phone number, and ACC eID.
“Special thanks to our ACC Health Sciences faculty and operations staff for conducting this clinic and to our community partners, Travis County Judge Andy Brown and his staff, and Geronimo Rodriguez at Seton Ascension, for helping make the vaccine available to ACC employees,” says Dr. Molly Beth Malcolm, ACC Campus Operations & Public Affairs executive vice president.
Employees who were not able to secure an appointment for this vaccination clinic will be put on a waiting list. The college anticipates offering other vaccination opportunities in the coming weeks. Employees can also choose to access community vaccine resources via Austin Public Health.
