During the 2026/2027 academic year, normal operations of the AFA will be suspended.

Goals

This review—led by a leadership group will encompass the following:

•  A comprehensive assessment of AFA governance structures, leadership roles, and decision-making processes.
•  Efforts to gain a deeper, more accurate understanding of who adjunct faculty are today, including their needs, priorities, and diversity of experience.
• Evaluation of executive council meeting practices and standards for professional, effective conduct.
• Development of recommendations to ensure adjunct faculty voices are meaningfully included in College decisions.
