Austin Community College District (ACC) hosts a series of workshops, panels, and programs during South by Southwest (SXSW) from March 9 through March 11 at ACC Rio Grande Campus.
The SXSW@ACC 2023 events center on the intersection of education, innovation, technology, and national security. All events are held in partnership with ACC, VMWare, and the Army Futures Command Software Factory. This co-investment and collaboration of the U.S. Army with the State of Texas, ACC, and tech sector companies are unique and not happening anywhere else in the country.

MilSpouseFest | On Thursday, March 9, ACC hosts this unique networking event that provides guests with activities, conversations about military life, resources, and more. Click here for more information and to reserve a spot.
SXSW Panels | On Friday and Saturday, March 10 & 11 — the college hosts a series of official SXSW panels. All panels are SXSW official and require valid SXSW credentials. Panelists and audience members include senior tech industry executives from Google and VMWare, senior DOD officials, senior academic leaders from ACC, West Point, and Baylor, active duty army soldiers, military family supporters, and local college students. Google Appathon | On Friday, March 10, ACC and the Army Futures Command Software Factory host an event to connect Servicemembers and Austin Community College students. Together, they develop technology solutions to challenges they face in their communities. Registration is required.
Funders & Founders: The State of Women In Entrepreneurship | This panel features a diverse group of funders and founders in various growth stages who will share their insights and experiences in navigating an uncertain economic climate. RSVP is encouraged but not required.
