The Great College Program at Austin Community College is a new immersive experience that brings together faculty, staff, and leaders from every corner of the College to reimagine what it means to lead, learn, and belong. Developed in response to requests from employees shared through focus groups and other ACC research, the program reflects a collective desire to connect more deeply across roles and campuses. 

Rooted in Chancellor Dr. Russell Lowery-Hart’s vision for a great college—one centered on connection, purpose, and shared growth—this program invites participants to step away from the routine and engage in meaningful conversations about leadership and community. Together, we’ll explore how each of us can help shape a college where everyone thrives.

The Great College Experience

The Great College Program is an extension of the Chancellor’s Leadership Institute and is open to all ACC faculty, staff, and administrators. 

The cohort will participate in a multi-day interactive workshop designed to connect, inspire, and empower leaders at every level of the College. Russell will be present to share his thoughts and to listen and learn from you, as well.

Dates: March 5–6
Location: Offsite, details to be released
Details: Meals and lodging are provided so you can fully focus on connection, collaboration, and growth.
