Austin Community College District (ACC) hosted Tesla for a small ribbon-cutting celebration at the new Tesla START Manufacturing training facilities at ACC Riverside Campus on Friday, November 19, 2021.
Students in the 14-week Tesla START Manufacturing Program and other ACC/Tesla training programs were recognized, including those in the inaugural cohort graduating this month.
Austin Mayor Steve Adler presented a City of Austin proclamation declaring November 19, 2021, as Tesla START Manufacturing Day at ACC.
Tesla START Manufacturing Program students, their families, and invited guests toured the new training rooms and watched demonstrations of the newly installed manufacturing robots.
