EPMO marks major milestones in its first year, with more to come in 2026

Austin Community College District (ACC) is taking another important step toward greater project transparency and alignment across the College. The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) has launched the ACC Project Hub, a new online space where employees can view active projects, track progress, and better understand how work across the College connects to ACC’s strategic priorities.

The Project Hub is managed by EPMO but designed for all ACC employees. It will ultimately serve as a central jumping-off point for districtwide project and initiative updates from departments and offices across the College.

This initial version is our minimum viable product—meaning it’s the simplest version we can release right now that still provides core values. It is focused on projects tied to ACC’s Theory of Change priorities. Over the next year, the Hub will expand to include additional initiatives and more robust features, supporting the College’s goal of radical transparency and simplicity through consistent project information for all employees.

This launch marks a major milestone in EPMO’s first year, which also included:

  • Completing the Student Information Systems (SIS) Fit-Gap Analysis
  • Building a Student Communication Inventory tool
  • Implementing TimelyCare
  • Delivering the Accudemia standard check-in framework
  • Grant process mapping
  • Supporting Distance Education Orientation redesign
  • Building the Theory of Change implementation processes and framework
  • Launching a collegewide lessons learned repository

EPMO continues to support key initiatives such as SIS modernization, the Web Redesign Initiative, Demonstrated Practices of Care implementation, Meet Basic Needs implementation, Academic Affairs current state analysis, Completion and award improvements, and the Bats to Cats transfer partnership.

In 2026, EPMO will expand the Project Hub, deepen collegewide project management tools and training, and continue strengthening alignment and transparency across ACC. Employees are invited to explore the new ACC Project Hub and follow project updates as the platform grows.
