Austin Community College (ACC) is partnering with Coursera to provide no-cost access to high-quality online learning for all current faculty, staff, and students beginning fall 2025. Through this partnership, employees can earn industry-recognized credentials and build skills from top institutions and companies, including Google, IBM, and Meta, at any time and from anywhere.

Faculty can upskill in areas such as data tools, AI, teaching strategies, and project management, and may also integrate Coursera content directly into Blackboard courses to enhance instruction. 

Staff can enhance their workplace skills in leadership, communication, and technology, all at their own pace.

To get started, employees must sign up using their ACC email address (@austincc.edu), verify their account via email, and then explore the full Coursera course catalog at no cost. Training and support will be available through the Teaching & Learning Excellence Division’s (TLED’s) Office of Academic Technology.

Help Students Access Coursera

Faculty are encouraged to share Coursera with their students as a valuable tool for skill development and career readiness. Currently enrolled ACC students can access Coursera for free using their ACC student email address (@g.austincc.edu).

To get started, students should sign up using the Coursera Student Sign-Up page, verify their email, and then browse and enroll in any available course or certificate program.

Faculty can direct students to austincc.edu/coursera for step-by-step instructions and FAQs. For additional help, students should be instructed to contact Student Technology Services.
