The fall semester is almost here! Getting your semester started can take some planning, but there’s plenty of intersession support available to ensure you have everything you need for the upcoming semester.

Educational Technology Support

Educational Technologists are available to provide virtual support during intersession.

  • Monday, August 11-Thursday, August 14: In-person and virtual support available from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Friday, August 15: All campus locations will be closed to walk-in support. Virtual support will be available 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Week of August 18: In-person and virtual support available during normal hours (listed below).
  • Saturday, August 23: All campus locations will be closed to walk-in support. Virtual support will be available during normal hours (listed below).
  • Monday, August 25: All campuses resume in-person and virtual support.

Phone & Email Support

As a reminder, the Educational Technology Support team provides a single phone number and email address to request support or training throughout the Austin Community College District (ACC). Phone and email support are available:

  • Monday – Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (in-person & virtual); 5-9 p.m. (virtual)
  • Saturday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (virtual)
  • Sunday: Closed

Computer Centers & Student Technology Distribution

Please note the adjusted hours for technology distribution and Computer Center access during intersession.

From August 11-22, Highland Campus (HLC) Teaching & Learning Center (1.1311) – Technology Distribution Only will be available:

  • Monday: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Thursday: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Friday: 7:30 a.m.-12 p.m.

All other Computer Centers and technology distribution locations will be closed the week of August 11.

Starting Monday, August 18, all Computer Centers and technology distribution locations will operate under normal hours except for Thursday, August 21 (locations will open at 1 p.m.).

On Monday, August 25, all Computer Centers and technology distribution locations will resume normal hours.

Student Technology Support

The Student Help Desk (including access to Student Technology Services for technical support) will have normal operating hours during intersession:

  • Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Sunday: Closed

Library Services Support

Week of August 11

Campus libraries will be CLOSED for the first week of intersession, Monday, August 11 – Friday, August 15. Faculty or student consultations may be scheduled during this week by emailing [email protected].

Week of August 18

Libraries will be OPEN the week before classes, following the schedule below, to allow time for students, faculty, and staff to use library resources, get help from a librarian, and review/check out course support materials.

  • Monday, August 18: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Tuesday, August 19: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, August 20: 8 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • Thursday, August 21: 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
  • Friday, August 22: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
