The preliminary numbers are in! More than $22,000 was raised for ACC’s Student Emergency Fund during Amplify Austin, a communitywide day of charitable giving benefiting nonprofits in Central Texas.
More than 100 people donated through ACC’s Amplify Austin campaign to benefit the Student Emergency Fund. The financial support is awarded directly to students who face unexpected expenses in life so they can stay on track with their educational goals.
“The Student Emergency Fund helps students to remain enrolled at ACC with a lifeline of a small, but timely, amount of money to help them overcome a temporary financial emergency,” says Steven Christopher, Student Accessibility & Social Support Resources associate vice chancellor.
Donations are still being accepted via the Foundation Amplify Austin SEF campaign page and ongoing at austincc.edu/sefdonate.
