Austin Community College District (ACC) practices emergency response procedures and tests its emergency notification system as part of Emergency Preparedness Week September 7 through 10. 

Emergency Preparedness Week is designated for the third week of every semester to train for the best actions to take in the event of an emergency on campus. The college will conduct evacuation drills at campuses throughout the week and will test the ACC Emergency Alert System districtwide on Wednesday, September 8, with text and email alerts along with messaging on the college’s homepage and on Facebook and Twitter.

Students and employees are encouraged to verify or update their contact information online to receive emergency notifications.

  2. Bookmark the page on your phone and computer.
  3. Get connected to ACC on social media. ACC Emergency alerts and updates are posted to Facebook and Twitter.
