Last semester, Austin Community College (ACC) launched NeuroSpark, a training program focused on strengthening inclusive teaching practices for neurodivergent students. Developed in collaboration with neurodivergent students, faculty, staff, NeuroBats advisors, instructional designers, and Student Accessibility Services, the program reflects a well-rounded, experience-informed approach to supporting diverse learning needs.

Faculty and staff who complete the NeuroSpark training are invited to continue their learning by joining the inaugural NeuroSpark cohort. The first cohort gathering will take place on Monday, May 4, and will celebrate participants who complete the training module by Sunday, May 3.

Participants will hear from a student and faculty panel, have the opportunity to ask questions, and leave with practical, actionable strategies to support neurodivergent learners. Those who have completed the training or plan to complete it by May 3 are encouraged to register for the celebration.
