Looking to add a little love (and fur) to your life this fall? The cats and dogs in Austin Community College District’s (ACC) Veterinary Technology Program are ready to meet you!
Each adoptable pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and given heartworm prevention and basic training while in ACC’s care. All pets come from local and rural shelters. So when you adopt, you’re not just rescuing an animal, you’re also helping ACC Vet Tech students gain valuable, hands-on experience and giving shelters room to save more lives.
How to Adopt
1. Visit ACC Elgin Campus: Schedule a meet-and-greet by emailing [email protected].
2. Meet & Match: Spend time getting to know the animals and find the one that fits your lifestyle.
3. Apply & Take Home: Submit an adoption application and pay a small fee to help cover care costs.
