The Faculty Center for Learning Innovation (FCLI) invites faculty to join the Teaching with AI Fall Sandbox Series—a hands-on space to explore Generative AI (GenAI) in your curriculum through activities, experiments, and guided collaboration. Each sandbox session counts as one professional development credit.

Sandbox Goals:

  • Facilitate open dialogue about AI in teaching and learning
  • Explore AI tools through faculty-designed activities
  • Reinvent teaching strategies for student engagement and workforce readiness
  • Design new assignments and assessments for critical thinking with AI
  • Receive feedback and instructional design support from colleagues

AI Exploratory Activities

Activities are designed by ACC faculty to complement Teaching with AI by José Antonio Bowen and C. Edward Watson (reading not required). Activities can be completed independently or with step-by-step support in the AI Sandbox.
