ACC adds more food and beverage options so Riverbats don’t have to leave campus. The college opened a new coffee shop at the Rio Grande Campus, and more are planned to open later this year.
Cafe Rio opened on the first floor of the Rio Grande Campus on January 17, 2023. It serves both breakfast and lunch items as well as specialized coffee drinks. Cafe Rio is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Two additional cafes are planned. A cafe at Eastview Campus is expected to open later this spring, followed by a cafe at Riverside Campus with an opening date still to be determined. These cafes will all be run by Campus Operations staff.
ACC Highland Campus
The Grab & Go at the Highland Campus reopened for the spring semester on January 18, 2023. It is operated by the ACC Culinary Arts department and staffed by students. Located on the first floor of Highland Building 2000, the Grab & Go is open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Eatery 73, ACC’s student-run restaurant, expects to open part-time in late March. The restaurant is currently available to host events by request. Find the event request form HERE.
