Sabbatical applications for fiscal year 2024 (FY24) are now open. Staffing table employees who have worked at Austin Community College (ACC) for six consecutive years or more are eligible to apply for sabbatical.
Sabbatical leave may be granted for the purpose of personal and/or professional improvement, which will, in turn, benefit the college, through activities such as formal and informal study, acquisition of new skills, or keeping abreast of new technologies, research, and community service.
Sabbatical applications are reviewed by a committee of faculty, professional-technical staff, classified staff, and administrators, with final approval by the Chancellor.
The deadline to apply is February 1, 2023.
