What\u2019s Your Conflict Style?<\/strong> Introduction to Nonviolent Communication<\/strong> Ombuds Day, October 14, is a day to celebrate and learn about the vital role of the ombuds. The day has been recognized by the Governor of Texas in a proclamation<\/a> that recognizes the value of ombuds in many roles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n ACC hired Amanda Dean to serve as the college\u2019s first Ombudsperson for faculty and staff in 2019. The Office of the Ombuds was created to serve as a confidential, neutral, informal, and independent forum for ACC employees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Learn more about ACC\u2019s Ombuds at austincc.edu\/ombuds<\/a>.
