Employees who log in to certain applications will now be asked to use an additional security measure that requires a second form of verification beyond the traditional ACC eID and password.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the new MFA, employees can choose from the following security options through the Okta application:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>SMS Authenticator<\/li><li>Voice Call Authentication<\/li><li>Okta Verify<\/li><li>Google Authenticator<\/li><li>Security Question<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employees who use Colleague, Informer, ACC Virtual Desktop, or the ACC website have likely used Okta already. ACC\u2019s Information Technology Department expanded the program to all employees as part of the college\u2019s comprehensive security policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/it.austincc.edu\/product\/asana\/\">Asana<\/a>, the college\u2019s official web and mobile application designed to help teams organize, track, and manage their work, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/workday\">Workday<\/a> were among the first programs to implement MFA. These other applications went live with MFA on October 6, 2021:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>ACC EAPPS<\/li><li>Accudemia<\/li><li>Adobe\/Kivuto<\/li><li>Appian<\/li><li>Atlassian<\/li><li>Blackboard<\/li><li>Box<\/li><li>Campus Logic<\/li><li>Civitas Degree Map<\/li><li>Civitas Illume<\/li><li>Clear Scholar<\/li><li>Ellucian Self-Service<\/li><li>G Suite &#8211; Employees<\/li><li>Get Counseling<\/li><li>Get Inclusive<\/li><li>IT Services<\/li><li>KnowBe4<\/li><li>LinkedIn Learning<\/li><li>Maxient<\/li><li>Open Athens<\/li><li>Purple Briefcase<\/li><li>Qualtrics<\/li><li>RAVE<\/li><li>Regroup<\/li><li>Student Life<\/li><li>Survey Monkey<\/li><li>Touchnet<\/li><li>Transportation<\/li><li>Upswing<\/li><li>VASO Health<\/li><li>Zoom&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additional apps will be phased in throughout the semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The MFA project is part of the college\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/it.austincc.edu\/dashboard\/technology-master-plan\/\">Technology Master Plan<\/a> and is one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/offices\/chancellor\/priorities\">chancellor\u2019s priorities (to modernize ACC\u2019s infrastructure<\/a>). The MFA system is designed to enhance remote login security and prevent unauthorized access to ACC systems. The intent is to protect all internal applications within ACC\u2019s single sign-on (SSO) with an MFA.
