_module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.8.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<p>Austin Community College District (ACC) has established a Cross-College Communications Team (CCCT) to guide collegewide communications improvements and align communications strategies.<\/p>\n<p>The team will work to keep the ACC community engaged and well-informed by sharing relevant, timely information across the most effective communications channels.<\/p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.8.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;][et_pb_column _builder_version=&#8221;4.8.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; type=&#8221;4_4&#8243;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.8.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Improved internal communications \u2014 collegewide, top-down, bottom-up, and across units \u2014 is essential to creating a culture of care and achieving ACC&#8217;s Strategic Plan goals,&#8221; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; type=&#8221;4_4&#8243;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.8.2&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<p>In its initial meeting in November 2020, the team decided on its goals and identified some of the most important current topics and communications channels.<\/p>\n<p>The first task selected by the team is to redesign the Faculty and Staff landing page on the college&#8217;s website to serve as the primary information hub for employees now that the MyACC portal is live.<\/p>\n<p>The CCCT is composed of experts and stakeholders from across the college:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brette Lea, vice president, Communications &amp; Marketing<\/li>\n<li>Gerry Tucker, vice president, Human Resources<\/li>\n<li>Jessica Vess, director, College Communications<\/li>\n<li>Ana Rummer, director, Student Affairs Communications<\/li>\n<li>Courtney Grams, director, TLED Communications &amp; Association of Professional-Technical Employees<\/li>\n<li>Chris Cervini, associate vice president, Public Affairs<\/li>\n<li>Nick Caspers, emergency management coordinator, Safety &amp; Emergency Mgt.<\/li>\n<li>Shari Rodriguez, business processes and initiatives director, Finance &amp;
