More than 4,000 recommendations from students, faculty, and staff have been narrowed down to initiatives that are in line with the strategic plan themes and key performance indicators.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, it\u2019s time to test the proposed initiatives with ACC students, faculty, and staff.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All employees are encouraged to attend one or several Strategic Plan Drop-Ins to learn more about initiatives for the new strategic plan.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each one-hour session, led by a facilitator, will cover one of the three themes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Equity and Access<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Impact &amp; Value<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Focus &amp; Alignment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees also will participate in a poll to gauge alignment and enthusiasm, followed by questions and discussion.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In-person and virtual drop-ins are open to all ACC students, faculty, and staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/strategic-plan\/how-to-get-involved\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>CLICK HERE<\/strong><\/a> for a list of dates, locations, and Zoom links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other opportunities to provide feedback include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Presentations during your next scheduled Employee Association meeting:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Faculty Senate \u2014 Friday, June 9<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adjunct Faculty Association \u2014 Friday, June 23<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Association of Professional-Technical Employees \u2014 Thursday, June 29<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Classified Association \u2014 Friday, July 7<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self-guided online access to a feedback presentation and poll can be found <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/strategic-plan\/self-guided-community-feedback\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/strategic-plan\/how-to-get-involved\/\" target=\"_blank\">Student virtual and in-person sessions<\/a><\/strong> at the Truth Racial Healing &amp; Transformation Center will take place Thursday, June 22 and a second opportunity at the ACC Highland, Building 1000 social staircase will take place Thursday, June 29<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To follow all updates and information about the college\u2019s Strategic Plan planning process, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/austincc.edu\/strategicplan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>austincc.edu\/strategicplan<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Updated June 15, 2023 ACC\u2019s Strategic Plan Steering Committee has been analyzing community input gathered over the past few months.
