Register for a spring training"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ACC\u2019s LQBTeQuity invites you to become a recognized Ally for students at ACC. Allies help guide and provide safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ Riverbats across the college.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>An ally is <\/strong>an open-minded listener who strives to become familiar with LGBTQIA+ issues while recognizing their own limitations. An Ally is willing to be a safe person to talk to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>An ally is not <\/strong>an expert on all LGBTQIA+ issues and is not typically a counselor.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Faculty and staff interested in becoming an official ALLY at ACC may sign up for an upcoming training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spring Ally Trainings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>March 10 |<\/strong> 12:30-3 p.m.<br><strong>April 11 |<\/strong> 12-2:30 p.m.<br><strong>June 20 |<\/strong> 11-1:30 p.m.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.myworkday.com\/austincc\/d\/inst\/17815$234\/rel-task\/3001$126.htmld?metadataEntryPoint=%2Faustincc%2Flearning%2Fcourse%2Fb58f517951b6100136a209e109060000%3Ftype%3D9882927d138b100019b6a2df1a46018b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Register here through Workday<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyone who completes ally training will receive a badge to include in their email signature and in their office.
