The series is focused on equity frameworks, practices, and strategies to support faculty in their teaching and learning and staff in their daily work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Developed by the Office of Faculty Development in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/offices\/equity-and-inclusion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Office of Diversity, Equity &amp; Inclusion<\/strong><\/a>, the series offers three interactive and engaging sessions throughout the semester to help participants strengthen their knowledge of equitable practices.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Develop a Growth Mindset: Teach for All Students<\/strong><br>Friday, March 3 |&nbsp; 9:30 a.m. &#8211; 12 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sustain the Conversation: Keep the Spotlight on Race<\/strong><br>Friday, February 17 | 5:30 &#8211; 8:30 p.m.<br>Tuesday, March 7 |&nbsp; 5:30 &#8211; 8:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Grow an Anti-Racist Environment<\/strong><br>Wednesday, February 22 | 5:30 &#8211; 8:30 p.m.<br>Friday, March 31 | 9 a.m. &#8211; 12 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sessions are facilitated by Nicole Bell, interim manager of Human Resources; Dr. Eric Nathan, dean of Faculty Development; and Chelsea Biggerstaff, interim manager of Faculty Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Equity Certificate Series is open to all faculty and staff.
