{"id":2893,"date":"2023-01-11T11:02:29","date_gmt":"2023-01-11T17:02:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/infohub.austincc.edu\/shared-governance\/?p=2893"},"modified":"2023-01-24T12:23:21","modified_gmt":"2023-01-24T18:23:21","slug":"acc-celebrates-truth-racial-healing-transformation-week-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infohub.austincc.edu\/shared-governance\/blog\/2023\/01\/11\/acc-celebrates-truth-racial-healing-transformation-week-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"ACC celebrates Truth, Racial Healing, and Transformation Week 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Austin Community College District (ACC) hosts a series of events for <strong>National Truth, Racial Healing &amp; Transformation (TRHT) Week 2023<\/strong>, January 16-20, and invites students, faculty, staff, and the community to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The events are centered around this year\u2019s theme: &#8220;Truth, Racial Healing &amp; Transformation Begins with Me.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ACC\u2019s <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/business-community\/truth-racial-healing-and-transformation\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>TRHT Campus Center<\/strong><\/a> has partnered with the college\u2019s Culinary Department, The Art Gallery, the Austin Public Library, and more to present the events, which include a culinary demonstration, racial healing circles, roundtable discussions, panels, workshops, and art exhibits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ACC also is participating in the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/mlkcelebration.com\/celebration-events\/march-and-festival\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>MLK Community March<\/strong><\/a> on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 16.
