This will be the first year that the college observes the holiday with the closure of all ACC District sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This federal holiday is meant to honor military veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces. While ACC has recognized this important day with events and activities in previous years, cementing it as a formal college holiday reflects ACC\u2019s ongoing commitment and appreciation for our students, faculty, and staff who are military veterans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The holiday will be automatically represented on all Workday timesheets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All campuses and centers will reopen on their normal schedules Saturday, November 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">ACC Veterans Share Their Stories<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The college is honored that hundreds of veterans have chosen to work or explore a new career at ACC. In recognition and appreciation of their service and dedication, we asked some of them about their service and what Veterans Day means to them.
