Dr. Bishop, a University of Texas at Austin and ACC faculty member, will talk about his journey from childhood poverty to a successful career in the National Football League and beyond. He also will share tips on how to realize personal and academic goals through relational investments. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACC Honors program<\/a> is designed to give students a competitive edge to transfer to a four-year institution. It provides core curriculum with smaller classes and emphasizes active learning and coursework involving research, creative expression, and community service. Students can participate in paid internships and scholarships, as well as leadership opportunities. ACC hosts Honors <\/a>Week from Monday, October 24, to Friday, October 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
