The college relaunched its nationwide search this semester.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After a thorough process that started spring 2022, the candidate the college selected was unable to take the position. The job posting has since reopened.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe\u2019re committed to hiring the best candidate for this role, and that can take time. Our hiring committee has been instrumental in the process, and they\u2019ve all agreed to continue their service,\u201d says Neil Vickers, ACC executive vice chancellor of Finance &amp; Administration. \u201cWith their continued service and support, the college is able to use the same process, which should accelerate this next round of evaluations and interviews.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The college aims to look at candidates in October with the goal of hiring a new vice chancellor before winter break.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, Vickers will continue to serve as interim vice chancellor of Human Resources.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ACC continues its search for a new vice chancellor of Human Resources.
