ACC continues to monitor the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in an effort to keep faculty, staff, students, and the community safe and healthy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The college updated <\/strong>its <\/strong>health & safety protocols<\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>on ACC\u2019s Coronavirus informational website<\/strong><\/a> to reflect the evolving guidance of local, state, and national health authorities.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Everyone is encouraged to stay home if sick. As a reminder, anyone who has been in an ACC facility and tests positive for COVID-19, has COVID-19-related symptoms, or has been exposed to COVID-19 within the prior five days must fill out ACC\u2019s COVID-19 Self-Reporting Form<\/strong><\/a> and inform their supervisor or instructor. The CDC defines close contact or exposure as being within 6 feet or closer to an infected person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n If a student or employee begins to exhibit COVID-19 symptoms while on campus, they can work with the college\u2019s Campus Health Liaisons. These are trained individuals who will meet privately with the individual to discuss next steps (including options such as removal from campus, on-campus testing, or consultation with a physician).<\/p>\n\n\n\n The college follows CDC\u2019s guidance for COVID-19 and uses the CDC Quarantine & Isolation Calculator<\/strong><\/a> to determine next steps and return to work\/campus requirements for students, faculty, and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Everyone is being asked to do their part to ensure the health and safety of our community.
