During this <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1ghvtHRYf2J4AaVPg11VKTPfnFJIKDuTv\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\">enrollment period<\/a>, employees have an opportunity to enroll in new benefits programs or change current coverage for plan year 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Any employee wanting to make changes to their plan may access their Employee Retirement System (ERS) benefit information and make enrollment changes online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ers.texas.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ers.texas.gov<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Steps to Review &amp; Update<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Review the updated <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.austincc.edu\/offices\/benefits\/insurance-programs\/premium-rates-and-fact-sheets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">premium rate sheets for ACC employees<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li><li>Visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/ers.texas.gov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ERS website<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li><li>Sign in to your account at the top of the page by clicking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ers.texas.gov\/account-login\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>My Account Login<\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li><li>Employees may also view their current Benefits Statement in Workday under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myworkday.com\/wday\/authgwy\/austincc\/login.htmld\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>the Benefits Application<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All changes made during summer enrollment are <strong>effective beginning September 1, 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Employees who DO NOT wish to make any changes to their benefits do not need to do anything during summer enrollment. Their current benefits will continue through the plan year 2023 (September 1, 2022 &#8211; August 31, 2023).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once the July 9, 2022, deadline has passed, employees will not be able to make changes to their benefits plan until the 2023 summer enrollment period. There are exceptions for anyone who experiences <a href=\"https:\/\/ers.texas.gov\/active-employees\/Life-Changes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>a Qualifying Life Event<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enrollment Webinars<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For more information about making summer enrollment changes, employees may check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oLnFus0_xVw&amp;t=94s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>this video<\/strong><\/a> or attend a virtual <a href=\"https:\/\/ers.texas.gov\/Event-Calendars\/Enrollment-Events?trumbaEmbed=filterview=enrollment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ERS Summer Enrollment Webinar<\/strong><\/a> to learn more about benefit options, plan updates, and where to find information about their benefits. View the<strong> <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ers.texas.gov\/PDFs\/Summer-Enrollment\/poster-2022-se-events-schedule\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>schedule of webinars hosted by ERS and plan administrators<\/strong><\/a> and register on the <a href=\"https:\/\/ers.texas.gov\/Event-Calendars\/Enrollment-Events?trumbaEmbed=filterview=enrollment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>ERS Events page<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enrollment Q&amp;A Sessions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">HR Benefits staff will host several Q&amp;A sessions during the open enrollment period (June 27 &#8211; July 9) to assist employees with general questions. Dates and times are listed below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Tuesday, June 28<\/strong> | 2 &#8211; 3 p.m.<\/li><li><strong>Wednesday, June 29<\/strong> | 12&nbsp; &#8211; 1 p.m.<\/li><li><strong>Thursday, June 30<\/strong> | 10 &#8211; 11 a.m.<\/li><li><strong>Tuesday, July 5<\/strong> | 12 &#8211; 1 p.m.<\/li><li><strong>Wednesday, July 6<\/strong> | 2 &#8211; 3 p.m.<\/li><li><strong>Thursday, July 7<\/strong> | 10 &#8211; 11 a.m.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Click <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/UchM5TwLPudstd7E9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>HERE<\/strong><\/a> to RSVP for a time slot and receive the Zoom link to join the Q&amp;A session for that day.
