{"id":1613,"date":"2022-04-01T14:54:53","date_gmt":"2022-04-01T20:54:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/infohub.austincc.edu\/shared-governance\/?p=1613"},"modified":"2022-04-01T14:56:54","modified_gmt":"2022-04-01T20:56:54","slug":"announcing-the-new-acc-administrative-rules-directory-website","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infohub.austincc.edu\/shared-governance\/blog\/2022\/04\/01\/announcing-the-new-acc-administrative-rules-directory-website\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcing the new ACC Administrative Rules Directory website"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ACC launched a new <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.austincc.edu\/administrative-rules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Administrative Rules Directory<\/strong><\/a> and updated and redesigned the college\u2019s administrative rules (A\/R) and guidelines\/procedures to align with <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pol.tasb.org\/Home\/Index\/1145\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">board policies<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new A\/R Directory website will provide the ACC community with an easier way to find and learn about administrative rules and the processes in place to review and manage these important documents, which provide the operating principles for the college.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Highlights of the new website include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf A fresh, new look using the standard ACC website template,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf Improved search functionality,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf General information about ACC\u2019s administrative rules and the college\u2019s review process,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf A\/R news and updates, including the status of proposed changes to administrative rules,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u25cf Links to the Board Policy Manual and Shared Governance website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In order to ensure a smooth transition to the new numeric coding system and to allow time for departments to update any links and references to administrative rules within internal procedures, manuals, catalogs, websites, and other locations, both the new and previous websites will be maintained until the end of FY22.
