{"id":1118,"date":"2021-11-04T09:17:40","date_gmt":"2021-11-04T15:17:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/infohub.austincc.edu\/shared-governance\/?p=1118"},"modified":"2021-11-04T09:17:42","modified_gmt":"2021-11-04T15:17:42","slug":"get-faster-support-for-your-educational-technology-needs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infohub.austincc.edu\/shared-governance\/blog\/2021\/11\/04\/get-faster-support-for-your-educational-technology-needs\/","title":{"rendered":"Get faster support for your educational technology needs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/tled.austincc.edu\">Teaching &amp; Learning Excellence Division (TLED)<\/a> announces new improvements to media services for faculty.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Media Services is Now Educational Technology Support (ETS)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This team, managed by Rene Renteria, provides wraparound support for ACC\u2019s many instructional tools and technologies. If you are a faculty member unsure of what kind of support you need, Educational Technology Support (ETS) staff can either address it or connect you to the right team. Services include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>On-campus classroom A\/V support,<\/li><li>Technical support and faculty training on tools including Blackboard, Mediasite, VidGrid, Respondus, Adobe Creative Cloud, iPads, Softchalk, Google Suite (Google Doc, Calendar, Sites, etc), Padlet, Zoom+, and<\/li><li>Web conferencing support for instructional classes.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/instruction.austincc.edu\/faculty\/\">Teaching &amp; Learning Knowledge Base<\/a> to explore all the support documentation available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>New Phone Number, Faster Support<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In mid-November you\u2019ll notice a small, yet significant, change in how to reach the ETS team. Using one central phone number, you\u2019ll quickly be connected to the first team member available for help with classroom A\/V, checking out equipment, and teaching technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All faculty will receive notification via email.
