{"id":2079,"date":"2022-08-29T09:48:56","date_gmt":"2022-08-29T15:48:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/infohub.austincc.edu\/shared-governance\/?page_id=2079"},"modified":"2026-04-23T10:22:04","modified_gmt":"2026-04-23T16:22:04","slug":"administrative-services-council","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/infohub.austincc.edu\/shared-governance\/shared-governance-councils-committees\/administrative-services-council\/","title":{"rendered":"Administrative Services Council"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Functions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Develops recommendations for districtwide rules and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provides for the continuous improvement of administrative services on a collegewide basis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhance consistency of campus\/center operations across the district.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seeks to better coordinate services among all campuses\/sites.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provides linkages between campuses and the various district administrative units.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responds to requests and recommendations from assigned task forces and committees.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reviews recommendations for districtwide facilities and preventative maintenance plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicates interests and concerns of staff and constituency groups.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicates council decisions to staff and constituency groups.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Committee recommendations are<strong> <\/strong>forwarded to the Chancellor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meeting Schedule and Frequency<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Meets virtually, first Wednesday (generally)<br>1 &#8211;
