The ACC Foundation and Alumni Network raised more than $22,000 during Amplify Austin, a community-wide day of charitable giving. The funds support student scholarships and the Student Emergency Fund.
ACC had 102 donors throughout the 24-hour Amplify period, March 2-3.
“A day of giving is a valuable way to engage our community and show them the importance and impact of their generosity,” says Amy Bawcom, ACC Foundation director. “ACC is thankful to everyone who donated during Amplify Austin and to all our Riverbats who worked hard on our campaign.”
The college hopes to raise $50,000 to support these funds and donations are still being accepted. To donate, click the “Give Now” link on the ACC Foundation webpage at austincc.edu/foundation.
