Austin Community College District (ACC) practices emergency response procedures and tests its emergency notification system as part of Emergency Preparedness Week from June 20 through 24.

Emergency Preparedness Week is designated toward the beginning of every semester to help employees and students train for the best actions to take in the event of an emergency on campus.

The college will conduct evacuation drills at campuses throughout the week and will test the ACC Emergency Alert System districtwide on Wednesday, June 22, with text and email alerts along with messaging on the college’s homepage and on Facebook and Twitter.

Students and employees are encouraged to verify or update their contact information online to receive emergency notifications.

  1. View the ACC Emergency website for detailed information about various types of emergencies.
  2. Bookmark the page on your phone and computer.
