The deadline to apply for ACC’s 3 Cs Learning Community has been extended and applications will reopen Monday, January 10, 2022, for faculty and staff interested in joining the leadership opportunity.

Applications for the new leadership opportunity first closed December 10, 2021. While several dozen applications were filed, there was not an equitable representation among employee groups. In recognition of this, and of the challenges many employees face at the end of a semester, the college will reopen the application for all employee groups through Saturday, January 15.

The Learning Community will engage in research on best practices in workplace culture. It will also focus on employee experiences at ACC with the intention of producing materials described below to support the 3 Cs.

Learn more about the opportunity, review the community charge, and submit an application to participate by 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, January 15. All applications received by the original deadline are still being considered, and those applicants do not need to reapply.

About the Learning Community

The 3 Cs Learning Community will launch in spring 2022. Members will be tasked with creating materials to help spread the 3 Cs — connection, collaboration, and caring — throughout ACC.

This will be a collaborative team with representatives selected from across the college. The idea came from the college’s Spring 2021 roundtable discussions.

If you are unable to participate in this learning community, please note that there will be additional ways to get involved with 3 Cs work in spring 2022 through another series of roundtable discussions.
