In celebration of National Distance Learning Week, ACC’s Office of Distance & Alternative Education hosts the 2022 Distance Education Virtual Symposium November 9–10, 2022.
The theme of this year’s virtual symposium is “All Aboard the Distance Learning Train.” Attendees have the opportunity to learn more about culture in the online learning space, hyflex strategies for success, tips for successful online proctoring, service learning in distance education, and more.
Sessions take place virtually Wednesday, November 9, and Thursday, November 10, from 9:30 a.m.–2 p.m.
The 2022 keynote speaker is Dr. Judith Sebesta, vice president of ISKME Labs. Sebesta leads research, development, and innovation for the Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education. Prior to this position, she was the Executive Director of the Digital Higher Education Consortium of Texas. Watch the keynote at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 9.
