Save the date! ACC’s Faculty Development and Evaluation Shared Governance Committee is hosting a Faculty Evaluation Forum on April 8, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to discuss the faculty evaluation process.
The committee began researching ways to enhance the college’s faculty evaluation process in 2018. A survey of faculty found that 63% of respondents agreed that these processes needed improvement. An initial framework proposal to revamp the current faculty evaluation process is now being presented to various faculty groups for feedback.
Upcoming discussion sessions in the spring 2022 semester will solicit comments and suggestions to refine the drafted framework and develop detailed recommendations for a faculty evaluation process that focuses on a more equitable and transparent process across the college.
